How to use this tool

Practice diatonic chord changes with a chosen key, tempo, bar count and optional metronome.

  1. Choose a key, major or natural-minor scale, tempo, beats per bar and bars per chord.
  2. Choose triads or seventh chords, and an optional beginner subset or metronome sound.
  3. Start practice. Visual beats and chord changes follow the selected timing. Stop before changing the setup.

About the results

Chord pools follow the selected diatonic scale. The metronome uses browser audio scheduling and skips missed beats after background throttling. This is a practice aid, not calibrated measurement equipment; accompaniment and instrument input are not provided.
