How to use this tool

Sample complete CSV records with seedable random draws, first-N, every-Nth and approximate-percentage modes.

  1. Choose a delimiter and file encoding, then upload or paste CSV. Decide whether the first record is a header.
  2. Choose a sampling method, amount, optional seed and whether to retain source order.
  3. Preview the sample and download UTF-8 CSV. Turn formula protection off when exact source cell text is required.

About the results

Files stay in the browser. The bounded parser supports up to 12 MB and 100,000 records, including quoted commas, quotes and newlines. Percentage mode is approximate; it does not promise an exact count or arbitrary-size streaming. Export uses commas and UTF-8.
