Random Real Address by Country
Load recorded hotel, museum, library and university addresses by country or territory, then draw a random sample with source links and CSV or JSON exports.
How to use this tool
Load recorded hotel, museum, library and university addresses by country or territory, then draw a random sample with source links and CSV or JSON exports.
- Choose a country or territory and a place category. Load a bounded collection from Wikidata’s public query service. Nothing is requested until you press Load.
- Draw up to ten entries from the returned collection. Resampling uses the cached collection in this tab, with an optional repeatable seed.
- Open the source for each place or copy, print and export addresses with their attribution. Missing postal codes and other fields are not invented.
About the results
Availability depends on community records, country/address statements and the external service. The returned subset contains up to 50 source records, not every address in the country; samples are not uniform national samples. Some countries return no matches. A venue-type allowlist accepts only direct hotel, museum, library and university statements. Person records are excluded. Private-home and person lookup are not offered. Source classifications can be wrong or outdated; direct-type filtering can miss subclasses. Recorded addresses are not verified as current, owned by you or accepted for delivery or account registration. This live tool needs an internet connection. Existing fictional address tools remain separate.
